Black-Tie Wedding Invitations | NoMad London

Striking colour and editorial refinement. The vision was bold and expressive with a black-tie feel but plenty of warmth.

The combination of black and rich amber was the starting point. I wanted the contrast to have real impact, with ivory bringing softness to the palette and giving the typographic design room to breathe. Flowing script and a fine border lend the main invitation a refined feel, and the geometric pattern on the accompanying details card adds a more contemporary edge.

For me, it’s how the pieces work together that makes the suite. The tiny diamond-shaped RSVP echoes the pattern on the details card, while the gold ribbon and torn envelope edges soften those crisp shapes. A jet-black wax seal on the black envelope adds a tactile finishing detail that just works so well against the rest of the invitation.

A suite full of contrast, warmth and texture, designed to set the tone for an evening worth the hype.
